what do we think: this is house music!! what an awesome album.

written by Kid Dub

Doubt & shouts is the debut album from dj & producer Anthony collins. It embarks on a journey through a very evolved form of house music and in doing so resurrecting an emotion for house music that ive lost so long ago. This is a very well produced album. The beats are always pronounced yet soft and delicate. Balearic  percussion is rife , yet far from being monotonous or annoyingly repetitious.
There is a very mature house sound that is developing right now and Anthony collins is right at the forefront.
What great about this album is that its really taken a step back from being big club tracks and adopted that formula to creating songs. So expect some very heavily jazzed fused moments with plenty of Rhodes, piano and guitars. We get 10 beautiful tracks, all brand new track as well so its all fresh. So genre-tize it as Minimal afro tech jazz would only bring you a few steps closer to what this album does.

This is a highly recommended album release.
Stand out tracks include Tango Bizarre, Prism & Mondays.
